All the Best SLC Graduates

Dear Parents of  SLC Graduates,

I see you so panicking after choosing a suitable college for your SLC graduate. You have been running after the big names and goodwill of the colleges, however the bright students do not need a renowned platform to showcase their skills. Also, In coming few years of the career path of your children no one would be interested about their percentage in SLC but would ask for the degree they have achieved.

So,  just keep calm and choose a better career for them not an expensive college. Colleges having expensive admission fees do not always produce a good career prospect, it solely depends up on student's caliber, discipline and positive efforts. A SLC graduate from a government school may have achieved the similar percentage as of any high fives ,so called renowned schools and we have loads of instances for those.

I have few steps of which you all are aware of but failed to realize out of excitement may be. The following points are solely my points and I am no expert but have gone through that SLC phase.

1.      Find out where they see themselves in eight years by now.
2.      Short list the areas of their interest.
3.      Choose the best alternative from the short listed interest.
4.   Listen to their heart, brainstorm and let them do the same whether they could accomplish or not.
5.    Don't listen to your own forceful desires but give them the good advice always as they are still not in the position of full maturity and majority.
6.      Let them decide which could be the better higher secondary course for them.
7.      Choose the colleges that covers those course in reasonable prices.
8.      Shortlist those colleges again.
9.  Evaluate them in the areas of quality education, discipline, faculties, teaching environments.
10.  Do not always go after the Goodwill.
11. Make them realize their friends may talk about too many subjects, too many colleges but what they have to do is choose the best one that suits them.

All the Best :)
