Conception-1,

The journey of motherhood was something like roller coaster ride for me. While I missed my period for more than a week, I was sure of having my child inside. It was through the house test first. I still remember the lights were off and I detected the device in the light of my cell phone to discover those pink lines. The moment of confusion, excitement, happiness, anxiousness and mixed of fear. I repeated the test and confirmed Baba (My husband) about the same. My Baba never reacts in loud, he is some calm person; he had planned everything and he was sure of it. So, the roller coaster ride started. We had pet a dog few weeks before the event; a German Shepard and named him Chote, opposite to how his body shaped today :)
After the house test, it was the time for factual news from the doctor so that we could break the news to our parents. It was a doctor suggested by Baba's friend. She Miss M (my doc) is in her mid 50's with short hair, a fair women who herself is unmarried and totally surrendered to God. She worships, believes in astrology, puts yellow & red tika on her forehead and visits temples every week but her mood swings are something to be worried about. I have explained her here as she has a huge impact in my pregnancy period. The first visit was recommended one from Baba's friend and she asked normally for early pregnancy test. Within few minutes the report arrived and it confirmed the news. Miss M congratulated; prescribed folic acid and some vitamins and scheduled the next appointment after a month.
After I came out of my doctor's cabin I first made a call to my elder sister, she was very excited and overwhelmed as one of my sisters(Living in Australia) was also pregnant with 6 months. Then I called Mamu (Mother-Inlaw) to deliver the news as she was out of valley;she thanked all the Hindu god she remembered and said her worships are answered only after 6 years. I was mixed with feelings for all those times.
During that period my mom and little sister were living with us for few days. During a play time with Chote in the evening, while everyone was present in the living room I said, another small mate to Chote is soon to arrive and my mom with fear of us bringing another dog said "no no no more dogs in the house" while my little sister understood and justified the situation :) my mom was so happy and started a list of do's and don'ts.

Lets wait for the next chapter....

All the Best SLC Graduates

Dear Parents of  SLC Graduates, I see you so panicking after choosing a suitable  college  for your SLC graduate. You have been running after the big names and goodwill of the  colleges , however the bright students  do not  need a  renowned   platform  to showcase their skills. Also, In coming few years of the career path of your children no one would be interested about their percentage in SLC but would ask for the degree they have achieved.  So,  just keep calm and choose a better career for them not an expensive college. Colleges having expensive admission fees do not  always produce a good career prospect, it solely depends up on student's caliber,  discipline  and  positive  efforts. A SLC  graduate  from a  government  school may have achieved the similar percentage as of any high fives ,so called  renowned  schools and we have loads of instances for those. I have few steps of which you all are aware of but failed to  realize  out of excitement may be. The follo
